Is this a subscription?
No. You pay $29.99 once. No monthly fee, nothing renews.
How does the app unlock after I pay?
Right after checkout you'll see a page with your unlock link, and the same link is in your purchase email. Open it on the phone where CustodyBook is installed and the full app unlocks. The link works once and expires after 60 minutes; if it expires, we email you a new one. Trouble? Write to us.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, CustodyBook is on both. Your unlock link unlocks the phone where you open it. New phone later? Write to us and we'll send you a new link.
I'm already using CustodyBook. Do I lose my entries?
No. Open the unlock link on the same phone and your entries stay where they are. If you already bought the full app in the store, the app part of the Kit adds nothing new for you; the binder and guide are the new parts.
Does the other parent see anything?
No. CustodyBook is your record on your phone. The other parent doesn't install anything, approve anything or see it.
Where are my entries stored?
On your phone. There is no account to create. You can save a backup file whenever you want and restore it on a new phone.

Email us within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full.
